We are a caring, supportive church family at CUMC. We vary in what we wear to church: cowboy boots and Wrangler jeans, and/or relish a time to “dress up” a little. It is all acceptable – what we wear is not who we are.

At CUMC we love to sign our favorite hymns from the Methodist Hymnal available in each pew. At the end of every service, we hold hands (if comfortable for all) and sing:

I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God. I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood. Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod. For I’m part of the family, the family of God.

After service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall to share coffee, food, and fellowship.

It is a special tradition at CUMC and all are welcome.
